Lots. If you hit the forum search link, you can find details and opinions about some of them :P

There are so many of them and also, some of the new web hosting accounts have it as an easy to install script. But the Live Person has been established and used by most companies because of the numerous options.

I'm using TrioLive right now, it is a free license for only 1 operator installed, and I'm a fairly new company so that is fine. When it comes time to purchase a license, I may stay with them I'm not sure yet, when it comes to paying, I'm going to shop around.

I paid for stardevelop livehelp and have managed to go back to
Crafty Syntax Live Help. The feature that Crafty Syntax has just out weighs livehelp. To bad i cant sell stardevelop livehelp

We are currently using StarDevelop ourselves. It's basic, but it gets the job done.

We use Kayako SupportSuite(which has LiveResponse integrated)
It has lot of features, but pretty useless.

I wont recommend this at all(at $30/m or $300 one time)! The only reason we're using it because we have a owned license for this and it wont be worth it to buy another software, since Kayako just gets its basic job done i.e. connecting use to staff...:)

There are many other softwares you can get for cheap, and the work just same as Kayako.

Personally I much prefer LiveHelp over Crafty Synax. Crafty just doesn't suit me personally, but whatever works for you is great =)

If you are looking for script that you want to host yourself, I vote for www.triolive.com - the open source ones aren;t that well supported. Unless you re really on budget, go for the better hosted solutions.

Trio Live is pretty good and it has a free version. You can get it from www.activecampaign.com/triolive/

If you can afford to pay for it Live Help By Star Develop is a great one:

If you can't, then probably crafty Syntax is your best option.

We use PHP Live. It's OK but so far the only one we've been happy with.

We installed Star Develop live chat for a customer and it integrated easily in our help desk software. I liked their software. It was easy to install.

StarDevelop is the best if you want a standalone Live Chat, without helpdesk integration. And, Kayako is the best if you need Live Chat to be integrated with your helpdesk system.
