Basically all in the title, no modem combo since that will not work with Virgin Media Internet (so ****, but no choice).
I searched a lot online, only found the two better than others

I don't know which is better, or is it worthy?
Do any of you have any good suggestions about it?

If you are just looking for a basic router with flexibility then the Linksys should suit you pretty well. It does everything that i need it to do at home ;)

I agree, the Linksys works well in most situations.

I use the Linksys WRT54G at home, works great.

Their are mods out their also to make it even greater, like hyperware

I strongly suggest Buffalo routers, they are made in the USA and you can upgrade their firmware with this:

The problem is the range, if you don´t get too far its works fine, but walls, water and other wireless things (mouses, radios, etcc......) will blow up your bandwith.

I'd recommend either Linksys or D-Link. I have used products from both companies and they are very reliable.

I have used 1 of these... NETGEAR WPN824 IEEE 802.11b/g RangeMax Wireless Router . This is for a connection from 1 house to another ....about 100 feet.. so far, for 2 months there has been no issue. For the price i think its a good choice.

Use Linksys WRT54GL and patch it with OpenWRT.

I use DLINK here.

D-LINK is very easy to set up, and has worked great for me the entire time I've had it.

Linksys WRT54G here running DD-WRT firmware.

Only a few of the earlier versions support DD-WRT firmware as they ran linux, the new ones run Vxware, there is a one-way flash to DDWRT from Vxware but I don't recommend it.

Anyhow, for home use the Linksys works great.

I'd also support using linksys. my wrt54g has been rock solid in the last couple of years and it's only locked up and needed a reboot once or twice.

The linksys is a great choice - but Netgears are also good.

Been running a few Linksys WRT54G's with hacked firmware (DD-WRT) for a few years now. Good bang for your buck.

I use a linksys router and am very happy. It has way more functions then I would ever use at home.
