Does anyone know what is involved in supporting WAP on a website? Is there any special MIME types or software I need to add to support WAP?

There are a great number of ways in doing this. You have to change the code or write additional code for the site that is going to be displayed. They use what are called cards and not pages. The coding is specific to each type of phone as well.

You will also need a WAP server from one one of the vendors such as Nokia. it used to be free just so people were making content for service users. Nokia also puts out an extension for Dreamweaver that will assist you in developing code to fit with their server and phones.

WAP usually works with CPanel out of the box. There is even a WAP version of WHM.
