Hello everyone. I am located in the UK and I am in need of leasing servers for my business.
There are a few things I wish to ask and that is are there any very good companies in the UK that lease at honest prices? Reliable of such and that at the end of the lease you own the hardware?
If not I was wondering if there are any investors around willing to buy and lease our company hardware. We have found a company that sells servers at a very good price indeed although we are unable to afford the servers out right.
We would want to pay the servers of in 12 months but due to the income as well for our services we would be able to pay them off in less. Though the contract to want to say 12 months for security reasons. For example if we have no income for one month no hassle comes of it except the leasing fees are still paid for via the clients.
We are looking to lease around 1 – 20 news servers a month and I feel it would range around a good £250 – 10,000/month that is a large amount of money to invest.
More information can be given please contact me via the e-mail button below or post here if you have any information.
May I state that this company that sells the servers at a good rate is actually located in the USA.
Regards

Steve,

There are leasing companies in the UK. One off the top of my head is GE Capital Leasing in London.

The other aspect is an interesting one. You would like someone to take the risk buy buying the servers for you and then leasing them back to you.

This person or comapny then assumes all the risk involved. How could you insure that the funds are going to be there in order for the person or company to regain their expense for the needed servers? Also, if this was done for the person or company to take the risk they will want a higher monthly payout.

Since this person is taking the risk they might also want a % of the gross profits. This could be a high number as they know you need them for the gear.

In order to stop this from happening it is best to deal with a UK based leasing company.

I mean I could sell the leasing company everything you need, you would then lease it from them over 12 to 24 months.

Good Luck

I for one was not expecting a leasing company/person to ;ease me servers without making a profit out of it. That would be a silly mistake for the leaser to make would you not agree.

Tony, we have a good company lined up but as you said being in the US could be a bit of an iffy to a leaser. I would be easier to find a company willin gin the UK to lease me servers. Though prices in the UK are very large for hardware parts. as an example:

P4 2.4
1024 DDR ram
80 GB HDD
1U rackmount
£500 - From US

God knows what it would be like in the UK.

Get back to me if you have any information, you got my e-mail address below:)

Is there any way that you could set the number of servers that you will be getting per month for a min of 12 months?

Like 2 servers per month for a total of 24 over the course of 12 months.

Who are you looking to get the servers from here in the US? Email me to let me know if you wish or IM me on ICQ.

I work with a great number of people here and can see what I can do to assist you.
