Complete disaster.

After approximately 10 emails, the latter just asking if anyone was home, no response, ever. The authoratative contact on the domain asked for services that were pitched on their support site and it took ten days.

I could go on with gory details. Why? I've been in the field for 20+ years and this has been one of the lowlights. Lahostnet should go the way of the dinosaur. Their install modules failed too. I was just assisting on the site after it had been acquired. I am now recommending they, and anyone, go elsewhere.

Heya, Tx for the response.

All I am trying to do is find a reliable host that has PHPNuke, a blog, photogallery and calendar. I came into this after being asked and ended up setting up PHPNuke on my own to see how it fit together. But Lahostnet's modules don't work. You can install them, but they do not show up. The site is scattered in pieces all over the table.

You recommend any site that just has these simple services. oh, and an ecommerce as well?

As I cant really self promote myself in here probably but I can speak for a few of us here that are hosts.. most of us here have those options and some dont. Its the principle of what suites you best. You can always hit up the request thread and ask. Instead of you searching the hosts, make them come to you with your needs. You then narrow it down to what you think is the best and go from there!
