Hello,
Im looking to put support.mydomain.com on a separate server. Is there a way to do this? Your help is appreciated.

Yes, in the DNS zone file, set up an A RECORD for support.mydomain.com (support) and enter the IP of the server this will be set up on (and set up the site on the other server of course).
Thanks for the quick reply. My hope was that I could make is so that support.domainx.com was on a different server than my main site, so if domainx.com goes down support.domainx.com will work. Is this one of those times I should be using ZoneEdit?

Not necessary to use zoneedit, as long as your primary and secondary nameseservers are on two different networks.
If you make the change on your primary nameserver the secondary should pick it up and you should be able to get the desired results.
