Live content feed

I'm looking for some good live content for the homepage of my site. It needs to be UK or international stuff. In an ideal world it would be world news headlines fron a UK perspective and UK regional weather (for my region, Local market!). Of course I don't want to pay.

I may have to settle for date and time plus maybe horoscopes or quote of the day or something.

Can anyone recommend any good stuff please. I've seen lots of very untidy stuff.
