I would recommend H-Sphere it is a one stop solution. It comes with TT system, billing system and with 3.0 chat software as well. We have been using it to service our customers for more than 4 years now and it is a great system. You can offer both Windows, Linux and VPS and now MS Exchange and sharepoint services. This may be just what your looking for. Check it out at http://psoft.net

Full points to Hsphere ...I will recommend the same :) best billing ticketing and control panel system as well.

Simple words ALL IN ONE PACKAGE

Hsphere may be an all in one package, but it's more difficult to manage compared to most of the single server solutions such as cpanel or plesk. You might want to make sure you have people ready who can support it.

For the most part, all of your billing systems are or already have incorporated some level of a ticket system but live chat they haven't. The only one I can think of that has a LiveChat option is LPanel, but the over all system is buggy and their support is slim to none.

My suggestion is to go with something like ClientExec or Ubersmith. Depending on the size of your company or your potential growth structure, I would look into Cerby or Kayako as a solution to better organize your support request, as they generally come loaded with very useful features that most billing systems do not focus on, as they focus mainly on billing and automation of services.

Good luck hunting.

PS: HSphere is a wonderful product that offers one of the best all in one systems. Well worth looking into. In the end, it really comes down to what you need and your preference. There are several working models out there the use a little bit of everything. Skills and budget.

We use modernbill and kayako seperately, but with a little coding you can easily get them integrated and working together.

To be honest I don't think most small hosts need a support desk system. A billing system yes but not a fully featured help desk. Unless you get 100+ support requests a day and/or have multiple support staff all help enquires can be easily dealt with via email.

I prefer having two different systems because it allows me to be a bit more picky about the features that are in each - I can pick what the best billing software and the best helpdesk software that meet my needs. Many helpdesk and billing software can be easily integrated.

I just added the new Moderbill v5. We also run Kayako. MB has a ton of features. I like it so far. And cpanle servers i think are the best. I have run a ton of different hosting management systems, Ensim, Plesk... I don't think any of them compare to Cpanel.

My 2 bits. About all it's worth. :D

We use ModernBill & Kayako together. I don't agree that having them seperate is a bad thing. In fact in this case it's a good thing because both have been able to concentrate on there core products, Modernbill = billing and Kayako = support, instead of concentrating on an overall concept that may not perform the job as well.

Agreed. I use Modernbill for all aspects of my hosting business.

WHMCS integrates simple but professional and effective helpdesk software. It's also the best billing system I've seen. People are flocking to it in droves at the moment because it's far more usable than Modernbill and most of the others. Give it a look, you won't regret it; I'm loving it, and so are my staff. My staff took minutes to learn tasks as opposed to hours for Modernbill. Don't underestimate the difference having usable and fast billing software can make for your business.

MB v4.4 is still a great piece of software...better than a lot of the others. Not sure we're ready for v5 yet.

We are using Ubersmith. But I will tell you from an Account Manager point of view it is not easy to work with it. I come from using standard business billing systems like Peachtree integrated with ACT! for client management. Guess I will have to give it some time, but I don't see anything but workarounds for the client management side of things.

WHM AutoPilot didn't particularly like the layout.
Clientexec has a messy layout with a overly graphic design.
WHMCS - great for billing, support and management. Easy to use and looks great.

Fantastico comes with a few free billing system scripts.
However, there are good ones like WHMCS and ClientExec.

Just go to Config >> Payment Gateways....and select any of the CC provider. Then apply for a merchant account with that provider.

Try cdgcommerce, authorize.net, payflow. Try searching in whmcs forums, and you may find the full list there.

Most common Billing system is WHMCS

Yes it's more practical for the client, but if you ran say 2 different companies in different currencies and ran WHMCS, a central support solution may be better.

Although, if you can, inbuilt is better.

I like WHMCS and i use it for our billing/support system. I am looking for a live chat system that is not big on price and works good. I know you get what you pay for :)

you can get WHMCS billing system with helpdesk built in but if you want live support i would encourage you to lookup saeven's CRM which fully integrates with WHMCS Helpdesk and also provides your clients with a java Live Help plugin! all-in-1 not bad!!!

I'm sure you are the kind of person who wants things well organized and manageable via single interface. Me too! :)

I used to have HSPcomplete... Been using a customized software as well that managed hosting controller.

You can SEARCH ON GOOGLE, FOR THE BEST RESULTS, COMPARE ALL THE BILLING + TICKETING SYSTEMS, IF YOU NEED FOR HOSTING THEN WHMCS IS ONE OF THE BEST AMONG OTHERS, TRY THE DEMO OF IT..
