.org transfer failed

Be gentle with me, I'm new here :)

I'm trying to consolidate my domains into one account (when oh when will Enom cope with .uk domains?).

I've a .org that is up for renewal in April, so I thought I'd transfer it now. The request failed as the domain was not registered ???

Trouble is the domain is registered, I got a feeling something is going on with the .org domains?

Is that right, or do you have any advice?

Apparently the transfer of the .org domain from Verisign-GRS to Public Interest Registry has not gone smoothly and .org registrations are sporadic at this point.
