The move is going well (move meaning the move from the apt. to the new house). Everything major has been brought over and we have a room full of boxes that need unpacking.
We will most likely need about a week-ish more plus, to get everything settled and going and then I will be getting back to promoting and modifying the site.
It will most likely be a bit slow until then.
Chicken, congrats to you and your misses. When you find the time, take a few pictures for us.
Good luck :), unpacking is so much fun...
did you hire a moving company, or do the move yourself?
You will always have those 2 or 3 boxes that never get unpacked.

Yea, when we moved from our townhouse to our current house, we had two boxes that never got unpacked -- and now there are two more we can't seem to unpack :).

We went the way of, "Rent the big ass U-Haul box truck and move it yourself." Amazing how handy a 15' truck can be. Had the help of a big friend who worked for pizza.
We're really going to try to get rid of those "two boxes" this time. I have photographic equipment from when I did photography in CT (business). It is time to donate that stuff to a local high-school or community college me thinks.
...or to me Chick!!! lol :chicken:

We did that with a bunch of books we accumulated over the years. We must have taken 5 Xerox-sized boxes of books to the library for their annual book sale.

Yes well, that works when everyone is playing on the same team. The wife has the habit of going to those book sales and buying boxes of books. We have a huge wall bookcase, plus two other 5 foot bookcases, and that's not enough to house all the books we have :(
By the way, despite my best efforts, DSL isn't to be installed until the 10th, and NetZero isn't cutting it. Problem is not that I don't have dialup (which I don't, but that's easy to solve), but that there's no jack in the office so I couldn't connect anyhow. :(
Hopefully all of this will be fixed very soon and we'll be back on track...

Ughh..we have a used book seller 5 minutes from our new house, I keep taking boxes of books down there, and she keeps bringing boxes of books back. I thought for sure we would get rid of some of the books....but noooo...we are winding up with more books than when we started

Good luck with the move, I remember how fun it is (and not looking forward to doing the same again). I'm really looking forward to seeing a webhosting resource that isn't a Robert-Marshopoly.

That's right, we're the AMD of Hosting resources :D.

The underdog, the little guy. But that's OK (though hopefully one day that will change!) :D
As for moving... it makes one want to retire right here. I'm almost considering throwing away the moving boxes so that we don't get any bright ideas. My office was the "dumping ground" so to speak, for all the boxes and there are still many here which is making putting together the office, quite difficult.
when we bought our property to build our house on, i wanted to put a tent up the night we signed the papers and camp out. It is a good feeling to own your own home. almost as good as a new laptop.
