Hey people I have question.

When you are linking to a website how on earth do you know whether they are PR 4, 5 or 6? I have always wondered. The reason for my question is that I Have read a few articles ( SEO, and Keyword density etc.) and there is always mention of linking to high ranking sites. How do you know what to look for other than content and link popularity if the site in question has a high page rank?

http://toolbar.google.com - once you install it should tell you the PageRank of web pages (if you choose to enable that option)

There's also a pagerank extension for Firefox, for those who are firefox inclined. It displays the pagerank in the bottom right corner for all the pages you visit. No doubt similar to the Google toolbar (which I haven't seen as I try to avoid using IE).
