I'll shoot out an email before anything major happens, but the plan is to take the board down sometime this weekend and do some updates and changes. This will be round one at least.

Just letting you know in case you don't see the email.

Ummmmm,

I do hope a certain ad software update is on the schedule

Hee hee... yes, it is. I really don't know why I'm considering doing any of it now as this is the worst time of the year for me (end of the work year), plus we have relatives from Korea coming in a week. I should have started all of this in 3 weeks (the start of months of idle time, heh).

There's about 800 small things that need to be fixed, I know. A few image problems (x's) and postbit issues, but I'll get to them when I have more time. I just couldn't take the default skin another day, heh.

Please do. I figured after months of drabness, a little color was deserving.

Color combination dint suit ..
It also makes the logo less visible.

The new layout and color scheme is a vast improvement over the old default vbulletin template. Great job!

It actually reminds me of the old colors (those of you who have been around here long enough to remember). I guess that's why this appealed to me. It's not ulta cutting-edge like I had hoped to go with, but that will be next time.

Because I'm an idiot and changed one setting but forgot to change the other. In theory NOW you can upload a custom avatar. Let me know if it's still an issue and I'll have another lookie at the options and see where, o' where I went wrong (yet again).

It is working now, thankyou Chicken! (a little bit small, but at least we have avatars now :D)

Unless I'm missing something, I don't see the options to add an avatar for moderators. :( I still need to find something good but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

See, this is what happens. You give something to the members and... the moderators want it too. Sheeeeesh! Just kidding, I did the exact same thing (now fixed) for you as well. You can also upload a profile picture (members too).

Next week it will be both end of the work week and end of the work year. And then... the job starts all over again in a few months. It's like being a builder and you work for a year building a good house. Then it gets knocked down and you start all over again and build it up. Then it gets knocked down again. Then...

Of course the optimist would say you have the opportunity to build a brand new house each year -- after a long vacation. ;)

...I guess 2+2=5 thing would be one of the workers putting a bathroom in the wrong part of the house. :)
