About Ecp Hosting
Based in the US, with services for shared, reseller and private dedicated hosting solutions, Ecp Hosting is in operation to provide a site that stands out differently amongst others as well as aiming to have support unlike others. Our goal is to be authentic and personal with all of our clients as we seek staff who shares such insight about support and client relationship to help them build their online image.
Positions Available
- Two-Three Support Positions Available (depending upon availability of applicant)
Requirements
- English as first language
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to interact with clients and deal with multiple tickets in short spaces of time, answering helpdesk tickets quickly and accurately
- 6 months + Cpanel / WHM knowledge
- 6 months + General Linux knowledge (Redhat variant preferred)
- Understanding of: Apache, Bind, Exim, MySQL, PureFTPD
- Good understanding of the general web hosting market
Working Environment
- Willing to provide support using the online helpdesk (PerlDesk now, soon to be Kayako's eSupport), and LiveResponse (php site chat system)
- Able to browse the forum every now and again to see if there are any new support topics.
- Most importantly: Friendly, trustworthy and honest. You will be dealing with customers and we really won’t accept anything less than friendly, professional and courteous contact which I hope goes without saying. Our clients have made a home with us because they like the open and honest communication here and we hope to keep it that way.

- You will receive your own email address @ecphosting.net for clients to ask you questions
- Moderator Status at our forums
- Rooms for bonuses and raises depending on availability, dependability and client feedback
- Weekly Pay (via PayPal)

Payment
Payment will be $30-45/mo salary depending on expierience and time availability. On top of your salary, the following will also be applied to your income:
- $0.50 per ticket first responded to (no resolve)
- $0.50 additional per ticket resolved (regardless who first replied)
- $0.25 per ticket if resolved within 45 min of tickets opening.
(possible combination total of $1.25 if you successfully responded and resolved ticket)
- Payments all occur via PayPal, weekly.
