View Full Version : Problem - Needs Solving! :-)

Ok, after spending the last year or so working hard towards working past this problem, I am now going to share it here, in the hopes of getting it solved, once and for all!

The problem is this: no matter what we do, no matter how many thousands of dollars we spend on marketing, and no matter how many "goodwill"-type actions we take (donating hosting, etc), we just are not growing that much at all. Our client base, while growing very minutely over the past year, has honestly remained pretty flat.

Out of what you guys know, from knowing me here and elsewhere, and/or from looking at our Website, what are we doing wrong? What are we doing right? What should we be doing? I am beginning to think that I am missing something, but I don't know what.

Thanks in advance for any insight that can be provided.

Easiest thing i can see wrong is your site is very non informational, hardly any information and a sign up link is hard to find. I would create a professional image first before you worry about marketing.

I feel you need to first look upon your local market try to advertize in local magzines or new paper, this is marketing part.

On the other hand I see that you offer limited time live chat support make it 24x7 thats really important if you are looking for global clients. You need to help them when they want as "client is always first" here you get a plus point for your existing client and can get a good review from them.

Secondly I find your plans are a bit not satisfactory as you offer limited domains plan ...present market situation unlimited domain ,unlimited email ID,unlimited MYsql ..I think you get my point :) try to offer this things.

All the best

Thanks for the advice. Those are some good points, and I'll definitely put some time into thinking about those.

Anyone else see anything else we could do differently?

Q,
You need to remember that we are all in a river of hosting. You have to be ready to compete with the big boyz. Not every company is going to make it unfortunatly but in this day in age only the strong survive.
