That issue has been fixed, in theory.

Let me know if it hasn't. We had multiple problems with the promotion aspect of things. But here's how it is supposed to (and in theory does) work...

You < 10 posts = No ability to post new Dedicated/Shared,etc. threads
You > 10 posts = Ability to post new Dedicated/Shared,etc. threads

Once you get to 10 posts (non-advertising forum posts that is), you will become a Registered+ user (and you won't even have to pay). Note: The script to promote you runs every hour, so you may have to wait an hour until you can start a new thread.

At least... that's how it's supposed to work. Please report if there's an issue.

Sending a notice via e-mail might help but that could also confuse those that don't posts ads (or not often enough anyway). Being that this is posted in the Announcements and News about HostHideout.com forum, it's certainly in the right place. :)

A notice will go out, I've just been trying to work on another site and get that going. I made the mistake of telling a few people about it and people are registering and I haven't even decided what the backend will be yet.

Note: This is for work, not hosting related.
Being that this is posted in the Announcements and News about HostHideout.com forum, it's certainly in the right place. :)
You'd think :D -but I do realize that people don't read site announcements all that often.
