If you read on, you'll see...
The current version of the ring is not completely anonymous, since the hijacked machines download the pornographic ads from a single Web server. According to the computer investigators, that machine apparently is owned by Everyones Internet, a large independent Internet service company in Houston that also offers Web hosting services to a large number of companies.
Robert even owns the Russian hackers hijacked PC's ring?! Is there anything he doesn't own? (HHO :D) of course I'm just having some fun here. Please don't take it seriously.

So, it looks liek the trojans that everyone has been humming about for the last few weeks were communicating with a RackShack server.
This is not a sleight against RackShack, because I know their security department is good. Instead, it is a general query to hosting companies: If worms like this continue, do you think that hosting companies are going to be forced to monitor content on their servers, or in their racks more closely? Are internal firewall rulesets and IDS's going to become more common?
<<NOTE: This post (from Allan's Trojans at RackShack thread) has been merged with Laci's earlier thread.>>
