How much does it cost?

Hey all,

Everyday we, and I'm sure nearly everybody else here, get lots of hits on their servers looking for vulnerabilities. Has anyone ever calculated how much this costs them a year in bandwidth (I'm just curious :) ).

Also, does anyone go to the effort of reporting attacks to ISP's?

nope, also I have no one to report to. I have 240sq ft. and a connection to the outside world. To the DC the probing is my problem not theirs.

BW, naaa we all get hit ALL the time. It just comes with doing business. I have a DS3 (45mb) connection so I dont notice the hit in BW.
