About DarktidesNET (http://www.darktides.net/).
What to say and how to say it? Well, my new venture would not be taking off if it wasn't for Bryan from Darktides.NET. It's hard to udnerstand how a normal hosting cmopany can help another company sprout off and start off IP transit services, colocation and dedicated servers - all in our own facilities.
So how did i manage to get where i am by Darktides.net? Well thats easy, the customer support and communication. Bryan is the most friendly and knowledgeable person i have known on the internet. I have known him sometime before darktides also from his previous commitments. He never has anything but nice things to say and if you have a problem - he'll fix it. But the good part of that is he'll tell you what was wrong, what caused it and how to fix it again if it ever happened. The comminucation was quick and fast and highly detailed. Bryan's help is amazing and im really happy to see his company in such great success.
We both lived through the trauma of Timmy, and fortunately, Bryan was able to see Tim's scams straight away where i guess i was not so lucky. Although Bryan again warned me about him several times.
There was a period where i couldn't pay up as i was away for some weeks, but thankfully Bryan understood this and gave me some time to get the payment in.
The hosting itself is very reliable, we had a rough patch at the very begining, but Bryan constant communication with all his customers and his kindness kept the majority of us with him, including me.
Now this review is not just for me to say my 2p about how good Bryan is doing and how brilliant it is that he is doing so well - but this is more of a thank you. A thank you for the times i buggered up the apache web server. A thank you for the times i accidentally pressed the wrong button in the cp and ended up restarting the server. A thank you for the little problem with me leaving myself logged into SSH. A thank you for me nagging you to change my cpanel skin even though i hardly used the cp :P. A thank you for helping me with some PHP even though it was not your job to do so. A thank you for linking me up with some other good people who have helped me out. A thank you for a reliable hosting service, but mainly a BIG THANK YOU for being who you are and owning what you own.
I forever owe DarktidesNET for their help and i won't forget them, no matter how big my company expands to!
YEah i know this aint much of a review - and no it isnt a sloppy story either but its what i think of Bryan and his company. No jokes, no lies, the honest truth.
