Of ex-military installation turned into data centers (errr...in this case data centre):

Kinda cool, but it seems like everyone is doing it now :). Of course, I would still rather have a data center in an old missile silo than an old missile :D.

Damn, that is cool. Imagine going to work in a bunker everyday.
I want to build one :D Don't care about having a datacenter, just want to build a cool underground bunker behind my house so I can go get away from everything... :D

The government is selling these missile silos all over the country. American Tower is also selling facilities that they built for AT&T in the 50s and 60s, which are built to almost the same specification as the missile towers.
Hey, we gotta pay down the national debt somehow ;).

Just hope the Russians deprogram their surplus ICBM stock before the Chechens pick them up from the junk yard and pass them to their Queda brothers...
Wasn't there a SafeHaven, SafeHevan, something like that where a guy was out in the Atlantic, found a platform the US Government had built back during the cold war, basically in the middle of nowhere to watch for ships. Filled out all the proper paperwork and made it his own country (as it had been deserted for some time). He now does colocation there and you only have to abide by his laws as it's his own country.
I can't remember what it was called but a roommate and I were talking about it earlier this week. Anyone?
