View Full Version : Please Help- need for 2checkout alternative
Hi,
this is my first post, so please forgive me if I am in the wrong place or unknowingly break a rule.
My problem is this.
I have been selling herbal extracts from my site, recommending them for various ailments.
These are pure raw ingredients and I have no FDA product licenses.
I am based in the UK.
I have been using 2 checkout for 6 months and never had a problem. Until 14 days ago, when they told me they did not support my products and have withdrawn their services.
I am now unable to accept orders.
Please can someone offer me an alternative.
I have tried Paypal but sales plummeted, I presume clients do not want to open a paypal account.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Franny

Have you tried Google under "merchant account uk"? it could give you a list of merchant solutions in your country.
Happy New Year!

Thanks sergio,
but i think most merchant accouts are of the same opinion as 2checkout, that is they do not want to sell health products.
but i shall try.

Happy New Year To You!!

well we are considering paypal since they no longer require users to register to pay via cc, is this the method you tried?

Check out Worldpay / Barclay to see if they might be able to support your products. United States merchant account providers (MAPs) are a bit more lenient at times to these types of products but with you not being in the United States, it is diffcult.
well we are considering paypal since they no longer require users to register to pay via cc, is this the method you tried? This option is only available to certain merchants (https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/mer/WAX_landing-outside) in certain countries unfortunately.
Paypal might be able to help you as well. Their site (http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/ua/use/index_frame-outside) makes no mention of health related products.

Have you tried for :http://*****.com/ its one more money transfer company.
Search for processors that allow "high risk" items to be sold. They may charge a slightly higher percentage but if they allow "high risk" items it means you can sell almost anything. Read their Terms of Service to be sure as to what they define as "high risk" .
This thread is 6 months old.
I'm guessing the OP has his answer by now.
