Need dependable reseller account

Arrgh, I hate moving between hosts, but our current host is currently running at 89% uptime, so I'm on the hunt again for the elusive good host!

I'm looking for a reseller account with a company that has been around for awhile, is not run by kids, and understands the concept of uptime and customer support. I don't expect 100% uptime, but I'm very unhappy with our current 89%.

What I've currently got is 2G/20G for $15/month, cPanel, PHP, MySQL, SSH, remote access to MySQL DB's, unlim sub-domains, emails, domains hosted, etc etc etc, the standard setup.

What I would like is something similar, and very importantly, someone that will allow us to grow without changing the pricing structure drastically when we need to upgrade.

I will research whichever company we go with, and I will pester you with lots of questions before we sign up. Once we sign up and are all moved in, you will probably never hear from us again unless we need to upgrade our package!

FYI Marc @ hostingdog: I saw a post from you which caught my attention as it was quite a similar plan to what I am looking for, have sent an email to sales@hostingdog.net regarding it.

I'm not a host, but have been with PriorityColo.com for over six months now. I will be posting a review within the next day or two (extremely positive), until then you can search around and see what others have to say about them. Im sure they will be able to form a custom quote that fits your needs. I only post this because Ive seen you've been through the hassles of poor hosts before.

MMiz: Thanks for the feedback, I had a look at PriorityColo.com, but they are too expensive. I know some people hosted with httpme.com and they rave about them, so I kind of use httpme.com as a benchmark, and PriorityColo.com is more expensive than them.

Duane: I had a look at Dathorn and talked to Andrew, but found him quite inflexible and hard to work with, so I'm not going to use them. Plus he's one guy managing a lot of servers which kind of scares me off.

I host or have hosted in the past with both Srl and Dathorn. Both are great companies. I would not worry about Andrew being a "1 man show" He has people working in the background.

Rob from SRL is a great guy and I was very happy with his services. I only hosted personal non mission critical sites with these hosts but uptime was about the same Dathorn had a little better. But I found Rob's responses more informative and friendly.

Not necessarily, lots of companies overcharge and provide crap service.

We use PriorityColo (not for resellers). Sure, they ARE more expensive than a lot of people but you pay for what you get and they are awesome.

HTTPME uses NAC, which is a good DC but has had so many problems this year... well, you can use either (I don't really care...) but my point is, just because someone is "more expensive" than someone else you writing them off isn't always the best anwser.
