Ok we have had 0 chargebacks with our 2checkout transactions and they verify each one manually, we reach our release level we set and no payment and no contact of them, so we contact them and after a long 4 day wait they reply that they are ringing up OUR customer's to check they recieved our service. I asked why they decide to do this after processing our transactions and not during the transaction or shortly after and how long does it take, but they just dodged the questions. Since then we have had 3 more emails saying they are in the verifications process. It has now been 2 weeks, and we have no idea how long this takes. Does anyone else have experience of this process and how long it normally takes?

We actually have a member (long time) that works for them (or does work for them, I can't recall). I'm not sure if he has posted he does, or wants people to know it. I can contact him though if you're still having problems and se what he thinks.

It might be an idea since now we got a new update which it is apperently due to our customers been in a different timezone to them. What would 2co do if they are unable to contact after month? a year? just keep retrying and earn interest on the money we are already looking at alternatives for a merchant account.

Chicken am I ok to pm you regarding this then?

Yep, though you'll probably be onto another payment processor before it's all said and done, but...

Hello Chris,
This is common for new Vendors or First time payments, sometimes even after a while if they decide to check up on your account. It is normally a one time deal and once your account ends up verified you get payments regularly without delays. If Vendors can hold off and be patient during this period they find that they do not have this problem in the future and it is usually worth it in the long run. You can not imagine how many vendors actually signup for 2CO that are actually fraudulent themselves using stolen credit cards. This protection and added step in the beginning is better for all valid Vendors.

PS: I used to work for 2CO, from 12/01 to 10/05, but I still use them as a Vendor now.

I understand in some way but 2co are having serious issues keeping us informed and releasing information, they cannot even provide a estimated time based on other checks how long it will take. I have never known a security procedure anywhere on the net to take this amount of time.

Just incase anyone is following this, it isnt resolved, we have recieved no contact them from at all since my last post, so if there is a problem they havent even tried to contact us about it we have now been waiting well over a month. Currently looking into paypal's new cc payment system. Although this doesnt help us get our money back that 2co are currently holding.

That's piss poor. Last timne I tried to log in I couldn't (maybe they updated something). Should be fun trying to get help on that. I don't even know if I have a balance there or not. Never really used it as I hated their interface. Just bugged me.

Hello Chrysalis,
I have been reading your posts regarding 2checkout, as I am one user of them. I got the same issue as you few months ago; so, I decided to wrote a support ticket to the sales department to find out what was happening and never got an answer from them, so I decided to write to the technical department and my ticket was answered in record time, they also wrote me back telling me that they have to verify with my customers if they were getting the services I was offering. I never knew if they contacted them or not. But after that, I received my payment and now there is no delay in my checksl. I am happy with their service.

By the way, ever since, if I have a doubt of any kind I wrote to the technical support instead of any other department. :D

Regards,
- Sergio

Within 24 hours of telling them I am suspending payments they have replied saying payment is to be released this thursday however this may be too late to keep our custom, I am aware this is supposedbly a one off procedure but I see it somewhat unproffesional how this has happened and the time involved is too much.
