Even slower than v5. I didn't think that was humanly possible.
Good luck getting into the demo, it only allows 1 person on at a time like the actual version.

I will have to say, I saw some nice features added, but in retrospect was not really that impressed by the upgrade.

The demo allows more than one person in. It is not slower at all. It is fast catching up with cPanel on features and is surpassing it with some. And it is still more secure and stable. Tomcat, PostgreSQL, Backup system, MailingLists, MailUser access, Crontab manager and user selectable skins.

I'm not looking forward to all the new stuff to support but I'm excited that Plesk is catching up with cPanel.

Yeah, it lets you in, but this error pops up on login "A user is already logged in as admin." Rather stupid, but um anyway. I guess the hope the selling point will be the security. They added a few things, however it's no where near cPanel. And, as you all know, many customers like to see a "pretty" looking webpage. Can Plesk get any uglier?

Plesk's limitations on its "pretty" factor hasn't stopped hosts like us and AussieHosts become quite successful. What most people fail to recognise is that most webmaster don't know the difference between control panels. If it does the job, it does the job.

Why is it nowhere near cPanel? Because it is ultra stable and secure and has no risk of an auto update to feck it up?

BTW, your site doesn't work in Mozilla. ;)

I'm still working on the kinks in it. Thanks for the headsup though, I'll have to download Mozilla in order to check it out.

I would have PMed you but pushing that extra buttom seemed like so much of an effort. I love Mozilla - use it exclusively. If a site works well in Moz, it will work well on any browser. Plus it's in English on my Japanese OS so that's a bonus.

It is hard to just press that little button up there. I feel you. Look what we did to this once wonderful thread about Plesk. I'm downloading Mozilla now. 26 Seconds left. Now all I have to do is press that little button down there that says submit reply. That's going to take some work....

I am appauled with the speed of the new plesk, no improvement there. Vast improvements in unsability though.
