I did some tracert's from many different countries to Watering Can via tracert.com and saw some funny stuff.
It seems that *all* the traffic (regardless of source) passes through Yipes, then through Istop, then prioritycolo.com, and then finally Watering Can. There seems to be no trace of Peer 1 or Ottawa Telecom.
Are you just reselling prioritycolo's $95/m package for a $30/m profit? Do you offer any services above what they do?
And is the Istop that I'm seeing in the traces the same Istop that's so frequently spoken of in Google Groups (http://groups.google.ca/groups?q=istop)?
Thanks,

Hi Jamie,
Our space is within PriorityColo's cage in 151 Front Street. PriorityColo uses IStop's network, which is Yipes bandwidth and Peer 1 if there is a problem (since Peer 1's bandwidth is more expensive, it's only used in the event of failure). I'm not too sure where Ottawa Telecom comes into play.
If you look at PriorityColo's services, they charge $99 USD while we charge $125 CAD. The difference is quite insignificant now since the Canadian dollar is doing so well. How long will this last for though?
And yes, we're talking about the same IStop. :) IStop offers ADSL services (throughout Ontario and Quebec, I believe), and I'm pretty sure that's what the majority of those newsgroup messages relate to.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Thanks!

wateringcan,
Sorry, I didn't realize that PriorityColo's prices were in USD.
I definitely can't afford to spend that much on colocation and $125 seems really good. I do worry about the reliability though. Do you host your own server there?

Hello,
Please note that this special is no longer available. We have added a new offer with increased space (2U instead of 1) and a full 1 Mbps / month! Please refer to the following thread for full details:
