I am looking to rent 1 or 2 servers...
So you're thinking it's reasonable that each server would cost you $5, maybe $10 a month? And you'd expect to own it when exactly? Let's do some simple math...
$400 server (entry, very low priced)
$5/mo.
$400 / $5/mo = 80 months of payments (6.7 years)
That doesn't include financing charges (intrest, etc.) and that's just for the server, no connection (bandwidth and/or transfer).
I'm not sure what you're thinking, but I can assure you that you should be looking at a shared account.
I dont know of any providers who offer rent to own servers.

If you only have 10 to 20 bucks a month to spend, I would suggest, finding another business to enter into, as you are WOEFULLY under financed. There is doing things on a shoestring and then there is "Hanging by a Thread".

You wont get any server for that price. If you do find a rent to own server it will cost more than normal since you are buying it.

I can't even get a good reliable with 24 hours support shared account for that amound of money :P
Yeah, the costs are simply higher than that. You probably could get a reseller account for that, but you wouldn't want to.... you get what you pay for, for the most part.

Yea for a dedicated server you're looking for something like $100 - 200 easy per server. So the $20 wont work I dont think. Sorry. :)

I dont know of any providers who offer rent to own servers.
I know of one manufacturer that rents to own, as long as you abide to their terms. You have to Colocate with a company they work closely with, but the price of all this is way more than what you are looking for.

Dell has a lease to own where the buy out is $1.00 check them out.
I think the lowest it goes is about $40.00 but you need to factor in colo costs, bandwidth, and tech support which will equate to renting a dedicated server from a provider.
Unles you need about 10+ off these the costs benefits just arent there.

It is true that leasing a server and colocating it will be the same as getting a dedicated server, it may even be more than a dedicated server. But this will only be true durring the period of time that you are paying for the hardware. Once the hardware is paid for, the cost of colocation will be significantly less than a dedicated server. depending on the terms of our lease, it may take 6 months to a year, so if this is something that you want long term, then renting a dedicated server may not be that path that you want to take.
