i`m working at a design firm. As a marketer, i want to know about the skill of good marketing. my major is not related to business, but from long time, i want to get a job related with p.m in cosmetics or clothing design. and finally i get a job related with p.m.

but it is a hard thing.what is the real secret?

Understanding your audience and purpose. If you can understand your audience, you can probably create captivating ads that really connect with the people you are trying to reach.

If you can fully understand the purpose of your campaign, you can create ads that perform. For example, not every marketing campaign is designed to result in direct sales. Sometimes corporations simply seek branding, or seek to educate consumers about their product. Other times, the goal is to drive "impulse buys."

Ingenuity. That is the number one quality to have when in the marketing feild. Ingenuity will give your company sales, even when your competitors have a solid client base, and a fierce marketing campaign. It is also important to be honest, and helpful. Who would buy your product if you were disrespectful and unhelpful when it is THEY who are spending their hard earned money on your product? I feel that the direct and honest approach is the only way to do business and guarantee that, given enough time, people will notice you for those good business qualities and morals.

it's all about how you come across - don't try too hard or you will come across as too desperate, know your limits as in what you what to create for the future of your business and go from there. Be clear with your vision, then do the necessary to move closer to your vision.

Make sure you use correct spelling and grammar. I know it sounds obvious, but if you come across as poorly educated it won't help to attract customers. :)
