"New Posts" suggestion

I don't know if it's me or the "new posts" search thing resets too often. Like, I would be in the middle of going through the new posts, and all of a sudden, it says it couldn't search up anything (I assume it was reset to clear clutter) - I like to go through the new posts so I don't miss anything.. sometimes, something just got posted, and it's already cleared - and it was something I wanted to read... now I don't have all day to go through every single thread till I find it...

now my suggestion, - have it reset only once a day (Like 11:59PM) - or have it user-set... the individual user sets when it will reset...

Not really a big problem for me, just annoyance. :baghead:

It resets because your cookie times out. I changed it to get a list of daily posts (2 days) instead, which is something I've been meaning to do for some time now. There was a drop down version but it was causing errors. Anyhow, this will work out for you, no more annoyance. :D

Another option is to search by days. I sometimes do this when I want to see more days than what is currently showing...

http://www.hosthideout.com/search.php?do=getdaily&days=3 etc...
