Let me start by saying this is a wonderful box. I have been using it for the past few yours as a linux router / dns server. It can be used for a variety of applications such as an email server, irc server, dns server, etc. It is reliable and I have reached over 100 day uptime with this box.

PowerEdge 2300

Dual Slot 2 Pentium II 400MHz Processors (512KB Cache Each)
128MB PC100 ECC SDRAM (3 Slots Avaliable)
4 Ultra-SCSI 9.1GB 7200RPM Harddrives
3 PCI 10/100 Network Cards

Let me first tell you this box is LOUD. I was going to use it as a Windows Desktop box as I run solely run Linux needed Windows for some business applications (Quicken). It was too loud to keep in the same room where I sleep. Even when you unplug the two 120mm fans (the box does not get hot, I am not sure why they included the huge fans) it is still very loud because of the power supply and hard drives. The box is very responsive, even with Windows XP (so you can imagine how fast it would be as a linux box). Shipping on this bad boy will be expensive! I paid about $60 for shipping and estimate that it weighs atleast 45lbs.

Starting Bid: $75
Buyout Price: $200
