HAs anyone used this program? ITs in Flash but uses PHP, MySQL, to host the chat, what do you think? Would it use alot of system resources?

They 've made it EZ to intagrate it into nuke/mambo/alomost any forum software.....I have it, but my host wont allow me to run chat programs :(

I've just noticed recently that this flash/php/mysql combination is becoming fairly popular. Back in the old days it was all html refresh types of chat with java chat becoming popular. But I'm also curious as to the performance of this type of combination and have considered installing a few different varieties to compare.

As for Darren's scripts at tufat, most of them seem fairly impressive and affordable at the price he's offering. I've been scoping those out for a while contiplating which direction I wanted to go with some sites and what scripts to use.

I have the script...Let me tell you it integrates well. Installed it in less than 5 minutes. I mod'ified it in about 30 minutes. On my home server I tested it, It olny used about 2% of the system resources....

I talked my server into letting me use it.... They said ok. I haven't noticed any spikes yet, though I herd it startes to use <not alot, but a fair portion> system resources @ about 100+ users...

Time will soon tell
