Comments board?

I'm liking to have a basic comments board on my site which would archive comments and make them searchable.. Anyone know of such a script, and if I paid you would you be able to help me install it?

I would use a CMS-like system like mambo, postnuke, etc. and only use some basic features of it (like search and article posting). It sounds that you don't want other people to post comments so I would not allow registration/posts/etc.

Is there another site that has something similar to what you're thinking about? Might help to see an example, and go from there.
