Advertising questions ... not sure which forum to put this in

Hiya, I noticed that your site here is kind of small still and was curious if you do pay advertising or not like wht.com?

Obviously they're too big for us smaller people to afford advertising on them and I was wondering before this place gets up in the thousands of members and such if you were going to let people pay you to advertise and if so where to get information?

I'm just curious why you don't simply negotiate at least a temporary static banner. This way, you would have got more than a month of extra bucks. Not much to you perhaps, but if it is a site-wide deal (which I guess many are interested), sounds decent to me. Just my two cents.

That's about where we are right now as far as graphics :cry: I'd like to get some other stuff designed so we have a few things to put here and there and I need to do some work on the header even before I do work on the header to get a link to Ping up. This weekend I had hoped to hack up the forum a bit, then the other laptop died and I ended up spending a good deal of time at the swap meet and fixing that thing.

I'm slowly making progress towards getting un-busy. In theory, last week was my last day moderating @ WHT, though today I spent too long dealing with some issues. As today is Monday, that doesn't exactly qualify as last week so I don't know.

Since the move (buying the house), I haven't been back. Peo is probably wondering what the heck happened to me, if I'm dead, etc. Coming back from a two month-ish time off (looking, buying, fixing the house, plus going back to work full-time) took a thigh and leg off me, and I felt as if I was a rubber chicken, stretched thin all over. Add a cople of nasty flu-like colds (one current), and I feel as if I need another vacation!
