Just one shot I thought I'd share with you all of Nugget's birthday. Don't worry, I'm not going to whip out the album or force you all to sit through a slide show like your father did. :D
I blew up 100 balloons and put together a wooden train set to surprise him when he got home from school.

He's 3, it's a early child development center run by a college near us, not exactly school per se.

3! Happy Birthday, "Nugget"! Last time I saw him, he was still a little baby; and now he's a young man, handsome like his dad. :D

Wow, time does fly. Happy Birthday "Nugget". I hope he had a great day. My daughter is 3 (turning 4 in December) and this past year has been a blast. She has learned so much and is such a sponge collecting everything we say. :D It's been great though, have fun!

3, all ready?! I can remember when he was born! I still have birth announcement from when he was born. My 1 year old came across it the other day, and was obsessed with "the baby".
Mine will be turning 5 in February.... It seems like yesterday at he was born.... He'll be starting Kindergarten in the Fall (where, I'm not sure yet). He'll be towering over everyone in his class, I guarantee it. He comes to right below my shoulders (and I'm 5'5). He's over 4 foot tall... its scary. I was tall when I was his age though (my husband was short until he was 16 - now he's 6ft).
My other one will be 2 in February (6 days after Big Brother).
*sniff*
They're growing up too fast!!

Yes, I've "known" many of you for some time now. Our kids are virtually growing up together. They don't know it yet, but one day we'll all get together and have a "I remember when..." party.

That would be something, huh?
But its hard to believe its been that long, though...
Lets see... I've known you, Chicken, for well over 3 1/2 years... Even before I came to WHT in 2001, ... FWS... and when you lived in CT ;)
You've already gotten together with Keith and Mike... One of these days, you'll come down to Florida, and we'll con Keith into driving 12 hours to come down here... Always welcome to visit ;)

I think you bought him one of the coolest toys I can remember, the good 'ole wooden train set. Good choice :)

I tried to go for the classic thing. I will say though that today I went out and bought wood glue as the setup (which took me way too long to figure out how to put together) was promptly dismantled and rendered unusable in a matter of minutes. We'll see if gluing it helps.
Wow, time's gone fast! Happy birthday to the nugget! :)
