I am going to start my own hosting company soon. I am planning everything out first. I will use paypal, but I also need a "real" CC processor. But, the problem for me is that, number 1 I dont have a bank account, and number 2 I dont have a credit card. I am under 18 so my parents let me use there cc to set stuff up etc. I can accept paypal because I will just get them to mail me checks but what should I do about a "real" program?

I'd say wait till you're 18 or at least partner with an adult. I can't imagine doing business with a minor. D'you know why even the porn industry people disdain child pornography?

Well, what kind of a bank account do you need to be able to transfer money, accept payments, etc. ? A checking account? I will see if I can get a cosigned checking account with my parents, and stuff.
I am not sure about other 3rd party processors, but I know 2Checkout.com will send a payment via check. You can even sign up using money order or paypal.
Revcom used to require you have a business account, but I am not sure now. I never actually used them, I was looking at both and 2Checkout.com was my choice at the time.
I used to use Instabill way back when, and they made payments via check too, but they ended up going under.
Once you get established, you will end up with business accounts and all everything, so you just need to get by for the time being. A good business plan is a good idea too, just like you are doing, plan it out and do it right.
Do not let your age hamper you or let anyone tell you that you are too young. The owners of Ventures Online were kids when they got started and they are huge now.

Sesran thank you so much for your encouraging comments, and very helpful advice. I will definitely use 2checkout if they will send you a check instead of requiring that you have a bank account. Good luck with your site too. Thanks alot :).
considering that paysystems.com has been down for over 12 hours with no explainations, I'd say 2checkout is the top dog for third party billing systems.

Mo Money, I agree with Sesran about your age. There have been many successful young entrepreneurs even younger than yourself. Some youngens actually have better biz heads on their shoulders than some adults:)
Sesran, you must be thinking about the owner, Chris, of the former Virtualis whom I had been reselling for from their garage days till they sold out to Allegience Telecom. Chris, who was CEO of Virtualis got into hosting industry by reselling for Adgrafix who also sold out to Allegience. Chris had been designing software since he was 10 years old. He started Virtualis from scratch.
One of the owners of VenturesOnline.com, Pat Fread, was a fellow reseller with me at Virtualis. She and her husband and another friend started VO about 2 years ago by buying a turnkey operation and have grown and progressed greatly. They are not kids:)

I can't find the edit button, duh.
I just want to add that Allegience Telecom had bought a few hosting companies and merged them into hosting.com, which I do NOT recommend.

Daniel and Paul were the the original owners of Ventures Online, and prior to starting VO Daniel (not sure about Paul) was part owner of UltraSpeedUSA which ultimately died and then BurstNet and Ventures Online started. Daniel was 17 or 18 at this time. Pat came in towards the beginning of VO's creation. This is all from my head, so I could be wrong in specifics, but Daniel was young and did start VO.

I didn't know who had it before. I only know that Pat and her 2 partners bought a company and made VO into what it's become, and none of them are kids.
All power to Daniel though, if he initially started VO from scratch and sold it, most likely along with Paul who stayed on as partner.
In any event, being there was some sort of connection with Pat and Virtualis, I just thought you knew and meant Virtualis, since Chris Lyman, a kid when he started Virtualis, was Very successful, retiring from the hosting industry as a millionaire at about 24 years of age.
