Multiple Exim overload server?

I was keeping an eye on my server and suddenly there were about 40 exim processes and the server hit server load at 9.0 and there were a few httpd processes running. Is this normal....never seen it before?

check your exim logs if you know how to ..if not, let me know i'll tell ya

Also, if your users are using Spam Assassin, this will also increase your load.

I suggest installing Clam AV and using an RBL list tweak for exim and then, disable spam assassin server wide.

Yup not a spam....multiple idle exim processes for somereason. No spam. This was new :S
