seeing gaminghostingtalk has closed due no1 there or bad marketing I would like a place where gamers and game hosts can post. Can some1 help me in this area
Do you mean like a offers and requests section or just general discussion? If it's just general discussion, there is nothing stopping them from utilising existing forums such as the Lounge or the technical and area-focused forums such as the Business Discussions forum. If you means offers & requests for gameservers etc, you can utilise the Dedicated, VPS and Colo Offers & Requests forums.
Well see people always say about dedicated but a GAMING SERVER is a dedicated server but setup for the game by the company you purchase from... people buy Gaming servers because they don't know how to setup one themselves. And gaming servers are charged different than dedicated servers are... charging for a gaming server is normally like
$3 per slot public
$2 per slot private

I've realizd that gaming servers don't have a place, and maybe with a reorganization we can somehow find a place. Out of...
Shared, reseller, VPS, dedicated, etc. which does it fit best?
Well, since game servers can be sold as dedicated or as slots on an exisiting server. Hmmm, good questions Chicken.
How about a sub section off of dedicateds where games servers can go either as a server or slots.

they are kinda like dedicated but they are on a shared server that's what make it hard where to post offers. Then comes where would someone post a request at. See with a list called gaming it can have a forum called offers and requests.

So if a forum specifically for gaming discussions didn't work out, why would you think a sub forum on an established forum would work?
