What do you usually put in for the contact info like admin and registrant when regestering domains for your customers?

I give them the option to buy their domain name from my site. I have an enom account. If I pay for it, then my co's name goes in there, otherwise, their name should go there. I hope that was clear.
It's been along day, and I should be out partying or something. It's Saturday night for crying out loud. But, alas, I have too much work to do. Oh, well....
If the customer pays you to register the domain on their be-halph, then they are the org, admin, and billing contact. If they host with us, we are tech and zone.

The Registrant field is ALWAYS reserved for the owner, which in most cases mean the client. I always make clear to my clients that they own the domain, even when the name is in a package thing of say design and hosting.
I sometimes act as the Administative Contact on their behalf, especially with those clients who are computer-illiterate so I could acknowledge or reply to verification e-mail for modifying their registration info.
By rules of thumb, I will be the Technical Contact, even when it doesn't mean anything as with dot-ca's. Because then, I am in a better position to at least make a preliminary enquiry when registrar support is necessary.
Billing Contact is tricky, it depends on how you pay for the domain. If you use your company credit card, there's no reason you are not listed there.

Are you registering these domains as part of a package where the customer gets a free domain with a package, or is this domain paid for outright?

Actually I am registering the domains for clients who pay for them, but by check or money order. So really I guess what I am wondering is what email address you would put in the Registrant and Administrative fields. Because I am kind of paranoid putting the customers email address in there thinking they may some how get access to my account and do some damage.

Why not create a new account for those clients. I would want my email address on the domain if I paid you for it. Also, they should be admin and billing contact. If they paid you for a domain name, it's theres, they own it.

Maybe I should get an enom account? :D
This is an account with Wild West Domains, and they have the auto renew option link when you login so I was thinking if the the client had the customer number they could login and renew their domain and charge up the credit card. I don't know though I havn't looked into very much yet. It's just one of them proceed with caution things. Just me being paranoid I guess. :) I'll have to check into it some more though.

Depends. But I normally ask first. Then recommend that if this is a continued job, that I put myself down for "Technical". Makes me feel good ;).

I found, especially when dealing with local businesses, that putting yourself down as a technical contact saves a lot of hassle in the future. When the customer does something dumb, or gets scammed by someone you can at least help them protect their domain name.
We use the client info for everything and then list ourselves as "tech" on the registration.

As you should if your the host. You can then make changes for your client if needed. FYI, for others reading this thread. All domains that *you* register, should and always have the the client as the org, admin, and billing contact.
