Hackers

"WoW DUDE! You got a 14.4 modem with a 13" Screen! DAMN!"

Even when Hackers was technologically current, it was pathetic. Using "Nice refresh rate" as a pickup line?!?? Er...yeah.

That would be sad. I missed that one and will be sure not to accidentally watch it. :p:

Yes, that's quite amusing.

I watched Hackers not too long ago - it was on TV here in Australia.

As for AntiTrust - I don't mind that movie, although I wouldn't take any of it seriously.

If The Matrix counts as a tech movie I'd definantly put it in the top 10. I'e watched it quiet a few times and still don't quiet understand the point or all the hype about it. Running up close behind though is Swordfish.

Anti-Trust. :puke:

Although it's funny - their engineering room with all the toys and games and stuff is exactly what goes on at the big corporations.

Like I remember once back when CDI (Commerce Direct International) was around an engineer had a gumby in his office along with many other weird things on his desk. It was really quite funny - the boss ordered him to clean out his office so he could get some work done.

Tron is amusing, for a nostalgia kick if nothing else. It's also snicker-worthy to see them treating frisbees with such reverence ;->

Two words: The Net -- I love Sandra Bullock almost as much as Paula, but sheesh that was a bad movie :D.

I thought the whole series "The Net" (the books) by clancy sucked pretty bad.

Yes, I agree! I never liked the movie either.
