I tried to register a while ago and did not receive the email with the link to complete the registration process (problem with my email at the time). How do I get that email resent? Or can it be completed another way? Or can the username I originally used be deleted so I can register again?
I did try to fill in the contact form but nothing happened. I've sent another contact form message and I'm trying a post here also. Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this message. The usename I used originally (which I'd like to use) was gazebo.
Thanks.

It looks like the username gazebo does exist and is awaiting e-mail confirmation. I will check with Chicken to see if that can be resent.
Thanks, I got the activation email and that works :).
Only problem now is that I can't logout as abortfailretry (I'm using a different browser as gazebo). Any suggestions? I've deselected the autologin in the profile but still remain logged in. Something to do with the ISP here? They do something funny with the IP addressing which screws forum logins etc.
Well, I think I figured out the login/logout problem - I'll add infomration here which may be useful for anyone else with similar problems.
We have an ISP that uses an odd system of assigning IP addresses (I can't remember the correct term). Whatever it is, I know that with phpBB, you frequently get logged out unless you check the automatically remember me box upon login. I presume it's a similar thing with vbulletin. But then the problem was I couldn't logout. I think the right combination of settings is...
Profile > Edit options...
select yes for automatically login when you return to site
and select no for browse board with cookies
The other thing I had to do to logout was to go to browser settings and clear the cookies file after I'd changed the profile options. Now everything seems ok.
And if you have a similar ISP, it may take you a few tries to login and get to the profile page to change the settings before your IP gets changed (and you get logged out).
