The FedEx guy just dropped the last of my computer parts off today... I have the motherboard, dual SATA hard drives, CPU, RAM, video card.... BUT THE CASE ISN'T HERE YET! That is the last thing I need, but tracking doesn't show it getting here until thursday!

I've already been without my main computer for a week, I'm going nuts.

What are you waiting for? BUILD the system (configure the hard drive) and what not.

can't.. my old system only has a 250w power supply and IDE drives... this system has SATA drives and is 500w, I need the special SATA power connectors from the PSU, and plus I think you need at minimum about 350 to run what I have going in it :(

It is the very last post... actually though, the price came out a bit cheaper, and I ended up with a 2.66 GHz P4 rather than the 3.06 :D

Well, that's the one disadvantage of buying pieces and having it shipped. Not everything gets there at the same time. Rest assured knowing that if the mobo was last to be delivered, you'd be screwed as well.

haha, that isn't even funny to joke about :D I have checked everything, and nothing has been damaged in shipping, at least from what I can tell. So yeah, I hope it all works!

You don't need a case to get the comp working....just hook everything up and let errr rip...

then when the case arrives reassemble it...:)

BTW when using your NEW comp without a case...no need to attach a HSF....just use a table fan and face it to the copper....

Now that would be sooooooooooo cool don't ya think?

My main box is about to blow aswell. Its a Genuine P3 599mhz with 640mb ram and a 20gb 7200RPM
