DNS Propagation Question

I registered a new domain name and web hosting a few days ago, but the DNS still hasn't propagated yet. Basically when I type in my domain name, it waits a few seconds and then redirects to my web host's site. Anyone know how much longer this should take?

Did you register it yourself?

It makes no sense that it would redirect to your webhost's site.
In fact if it does go to your host's site the DNS has propagated and you need to upload your own site.

What DNS servers is it pointed to?

It almost sounds like the site was not completely setup by your host. You have DNS records, but no website so it's going to the default.

Well, everything is working fine now. Yes, it was a small issue with my web host.
