Hi everyone,

I am really considering buying a digital camera within the next couple of weeks. I've done a bit of research on it but was wondering if those of you who own a digital camera could tell me what the salespeople would never admit to -- the drawbacks. What's wrong with the camera you own? Is it battery power, quality of pictures when printed, red eye, etc.?

Thanks.

I have a Mavica FD83. It's older but does the job great. Pretty good picture quality (not the best for sure though). I like the movie record function. The big advantage for me is it uses floppies for storage which are cheap. If you want I can post a video and example photo.

I prefer any of the digital cameras from Olympus, because they feature the optics that Olympus uses in their SLR product line.
