This is on a RH 7.3/Cpanel machine. Have you installed it before?

Thanks, that's what I have been trying.
I have installed it once in the past with WHM and it went fine. Now, on another server, it goes through the install and fails at the make.
BerkeleyDB.xs:62:16: db.h: No such file or directory
BerkeleyDB.xs:70:2: #error db.h is not for Berkeley DB at all.
make: *** [BerkeleyDB.o] Error 1
/usr/bin/make -- NOT OK
Running make install
make had returned bad status, install seems impossible
Lemme guess, you're gonna install Moveable Type?

Well, there's always clients that need that:p:, but this is because a mojo list, moved from another server, is not wanting to cooperate anymore.

Try installing it manually from SSH perhaps?

Yeah, that's what I'm asking....has anyone installed it before? What steps did you take? Which directory does it have to be in? Any dependencies? etc.:) Sleepycat.com was not the most helpful.

If you are interested, here is how I installed Berkeley DB when WHM had a problem with it. This is on a Cpanel server.
I could not find any dependencies in any documentation on Berkeley DB, but I knew there must be. So, here we go:
Enter your WHM and click on "Install a RPM"
Make sure the following RPMs have been installed prior to attempting Berkeley DB:
db1
db1-devel
db2
db2-devel
db3
db3-devel
db3-utils
db3x
It would not install without these. Then, click on "Install a Perl Module"
Berkeley DB
File_DB
Boom! Mojo and Mt started working again.
Easy, once I figured out dependencies.:p:
