WE'll I've asked what your backyard looks like, what your desk looks like, now its time to ask what your alltime favorite movie is?

The first one that came to mind is Stephen King's "Salem's Lot". I love horror movies and his are the best. There are many others that I like and probably would even rate high. This was the first one I could think of off the top of my head.
Hmm, I really liked Enemy of the State, as well as Green Mile.

Akira Kurosawa's Ikiru (1952) actually helped shape my life. Rumor has it that Tom Hank is going to make an English (or Hollywood) version of it.
Kurosawa is actually one of the most influential directors of all time. I don't think there is any living director who has not read his movies. Cameron Crowe, for example, actually paid tribute to Ikiru by remaking its "Happy Birthday to you" scene in his movie "Jerry Maguire" when Jerry (Tom Cruise) was REBORN in the restaurant. (Yes, movies have to be "read".)

For me, it's an easy choice: "Glengarry Glen Ross". What a tremendous film. First, it's packed with star power. How can you miss with a cast of Jack Lemmon, Al Pacino, Ed Harris, Alan Arkin, Kevin Spacey, Alec Baldwin, and Jonathan Pryce? Then on top of it, the movie is from the Pulitzer Prize winning play by David Mamet.
If you've not seen GGR, you've missed out -- big time. It is a cinema classic and is in every sense of the word as strong as my second choice, "12 Angry Men". Now THAT was a film.
Again, stellar cast: Henry Fonda, Lee J. Cobb, Ed Begley, E.G. Marshall, Jack Warden, Martin Balsam, John Fiedler, Jack Klugman, Ed Binns, and Robert Webber -- and on top of that it was directed by Syndney Lumet.

I thought swordfish had a good plot, they could have easily done without the porn and still had a great movie.

Uh..what porn? Although there was some suggestive scenes and nudity, it isn't porn.

Oh, I remember "Chariots of Fire" being the first movie I videotaped from TV back in 1986.

Sorry to say that, but Swordfish is KNOWN to have a lousy plot, and those sex-related scenes are not necessary, to say the least (although I must admit I LOVE watching Halle Berry nude :D ).
