mhale asked about them here (http://www.hosthideout.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=941&highlight=Payquake#post941) a few months ago, but no one replied saying anything about it.

Never heard of them, but interested now. Let us know if you try it.
Very interesting indeed. They seem to be cheaper than the other options out there, but have a annual membership fee which is rather odd. :)
I'd be interested in knowing more about them too.

I just did some research on them... and they seem to be owned by U.S. Merchant Systems who have been around for a little over 10years... PayQauke also uses AuthorizeNet for their merchant gateway, which is a good thing. Their rates dont seem all that bad. I get the feeling they dont like PayPal to much ;)
I have not read any bad comments so far, so they should be safe to go with. Sounds like a stable company. What do you guys think?

The reason I didn't go with them is the monthly fee that I would have to pay since I am in Canada.

With most merchant account people you need to pay a monthly fee of some sort. I just dont like the annual membership fee they have. :(
