Hey guys got to make this quick because i am on the run!!

I thought popped into my mind last night and i just want your guys opinion on how valuable it could be. I have been in the tech support industry for webhosts for about 3-4 years now. I have helped set uo many customer and technical support systems. I was just wondering if you guys think that offering my services to companies. I will charge anyway from 30-100 dollars depending on what they want. We all know how importent customer and technical support is to a company and this will give the business owner other things to worry about.

Here are just some of the things i am thinking about offering.
Set up support forums, with special member groups for customers
Set up helpdesk
Set up and write faq's
Hire and interview support tech reps
Set up live chat software
etc..
Just wanted to get some opinions on what you think of this before i thought about it much farther.

Got to run

Well your concept sounds good, but most hosts already have the department working right now. Would this fee include the help desks? How long will all this take for the company?

Well supprising a lot of hosting companies do not have a good support system. Some just have e-mail. Overall the pocess should be completed within 3-5 days depending on what the client needs,

Thanks for the response

It sounds like you should rather offer web hosting consulting service in general. Add more features to your services and it might work. Otherwise you are limiting yourself to a small market group and will never be able to make a living out of this.

I think most knowledgeable industry professionals would have no problems setting up what you have described. The ones that would are the people wanting to make a fortune in the hosting industry with a reseller account and no knowledge of web hosting.

I'm not sure those are the people I'd want to target, but there sure are a lot of them out there :)

Sounds like a good plan to me, you might just want to get a good group of people as things progress so you have enough folks to spread around. :)

I would have to agree with this. I think this would be a good thing to market to People new to the hosting industry and have a reseller account other then that they should already know how to setup what you have described. Another thing that this might come in handy for is for people that just dont have the time to setup what you have described.

Thanks
