I was thinking about the possibility of combining the Web Design and the Web Site Review Requests forums and opening the hidden Programming Forum due to a request. Although ever request can't and won't be realized, I thought that two forums could be combined and one added without more noise and confusion.
Your vote and input is requested. Thank you.

Hi :chicken: ,
Combine the Web Design and Web Site Review Requests forums.
As for programming, does not matter for me, but I voted "but DO NOT add Programming" as there are plenty of forums on HHO ;).

I'm with Ace on this one. There are enough programming resources out there and to really get into it you need to go beyond PHP and web development. It's also a truth that programming is used in many areas of many business, and doesn't always even play a roll in a web site at all.
I chose to put the two together as it's a nice fit, keeps the fragmentation down a tad.
I voted for combine the web design and website review request forums, and add a programming forum.
I do agree that there are other resources out there for programming, and dedicated to programming only. Although it'd be a very nice feature to have while on HHO. This is just my opinion :).
So I give it eight dancing banana's to yes combine the design forums, and add the programming.

Combine Web Design & Website Review. That makes sense. As well, I voted to add a Programming Forum.
Although there are many Programming forums out there already, I would think that having one here would provide more targetted programming solutions to us as web hosts.
For example, it will be far more likely that I will find a PHP script here at HHO to use specifically in a web host order form than trying to sift through the more generic forums out there. Other examples would be scripts for whois, control panel login, etc.

I think a programming forum would be nice, and also combining the Web Design and Website Review forums would be a good idea.

Okay, I've made some chages to streamline things a bit, reduce the number of forums and categories, while still adding the Programming Forum. Hope this is easier to navigate through.

I just realized that the changes I made make it the exact same as the other forum heh. Duhhhh. I suppose helping to build that one has gotten into the brain. Ohh well, it stays, but that's just depressing.

Yes, but your skin has much nicer colors...:)
(I'm referring of course to the VB skin, not yours :uhh: )

Hey maybe you could combine the programming and web design forum, maybe have a forum named Web Design and Programming, and then have a a subforum for Website Reviews.
Maybe that could set it apart a little? I don't know just a suggestion. :)
Come to think of it, do we really need a Programming Forum??
j/k :D

Hmmmm... another poll I suppose. I'm generally against sub-forums, however that one might make sense. Have to think about that one.

That's a better idea than combining web design and reviews :)
