I've had my site hosted on a reseller account on server Othello with Kualo for some time now. I've been with Kualo since September of 2002, on Othello since it launched in November of 2002. Here is my review.

Background:
Kualo is based in Canada, the USA, as well as the U.K.. They offer virtual (shared), reseller, semi-dedicated and are starting to offer dedicated solutions.

Services: B - above average
They offer many different size packages with almost everything you can have on a UNIX server without conflicts. The only drawback is that it seems you can get more bandwidth for the same price at other hosts.

Customer Support: A- - Excellent
They are always there. Questions get answered normally in under 15 minutes via either the helpdesk or forums. They have knowledgable staff.

Network: B - Above Average
They normally have pretty good networks, with above 99.5% uptime guarenteed, but they seem to stay around 99.5, 99.6% for a month. They had some problems on a few servers with routers and things of that nature that they couldn't control, but there were fixed ASAP.

Value: C - Average
There are better deals out there, but Kualo is reliable, has helpful staff, a great community, and things of that nature. I'm on the reseller r-start plan (nonexistent now, almost the same as r-1)

Overall: A- - Excellent
Great company that is expanding as we speak. They offer reliable services with a nice staff. Overall I like them a lot.

Both of the sites in my signiture are hosted with them (gamersmark is a client account created on OzTheory)

Good review layout, I'll follow on with:

I've had my site hosted on a reseller account on server Romeo with Kualo for about 3-4 months. Here is my review.

Services and Features:

Kualo use WHM/Cpanel which I like a lot, I had not used WHM before joining Kualo, but I had been using Cpanel for some time before. I found it very easy to use, and they have some good image based tutorials on their forum which can be useful. I took advantage of an offer when signing up which took my account quota in-line with many other hosts. However I would of been happy with the lower quota now knowing that they provide excellent support that other, lower priced hosts may not have been able to match.

Customer Support:

This is what attracted me to Kualo the most. I wanted to make sure that when things did go wrong there was a well trained team looking after things. They have a team of about 5 main support staff situated around the world so there is always somebody online looking after things. Recently they started to put more emphasis on the "Kualo Community" (forums), which has worked really well for them, and those who visit them will see I spent a lot of my time there! When I'm not beating them to it :p: they answer questions within minutes. Sometimes it is a little longer, but is always within a reasonable time.

Network:

I am on a relatively new server which has luckily had no major problems. Uptime has been between 99.9% and 99.6%, and is looking on target this month to be very high again. Other servers have not been so lucky and in recent months there have been a number of pro-longed downtime periods, however the team kept clients well informed of what was going on while they were working to restore the service.

Value:

As said above there are cheaper hosts out there, however for what I am getting at Kualo in terms of support and service I have not had a host beat them yet and am just about to upgrade my account to stay for at least another year with them.

Overall:

They are the best host I have used with excellent service and support.
